Hi! I'm Lise Leblanc. I'm a therapist, life coach, and author of 9 self-healing guides. I have over 20 years of experience helping people reprogram their minds and take charge of their emotions so they can live with passion, peace, and purpose. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree, as well as many clinical certifications (CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Suicide Intervention, etc.). But I have to admit that my best education came from conquering my own mental and emotional challenges.

Getting my mind and emotions in check is how I went from breakdown to breakthrough and this is how I help my clients using my R.E.S.T. Model.  

Step 1: R

The R in the R.E.S.T Model stands for Responsibility. The ONE most important thing I have learned in life is the importance of taking responsibility for my own mindset, as well as my behaviour patterns. Without taking responsibility for our recurring problems and themes, we will continue to blame others and remain powerless to making the needed shifts in various areas of our lives.

Step 2: E

The E in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Emotional Regulation. What most people don't realize is how dysregulated emotions can cause us to perceive, interpret, and react in ways that are counter-productive and in ways that create disconnection in our relationships. Learning to regulate emotions is a key aspect to moving towards a life happiness, success, and fulfilling relationships. 

Step 3: S

The S in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Support. We all need a bit of help when it comes to consistency, discipline, and accountability. It's easy to lose sight of your goals or to lose your motivation and go back to old habits which is why it's so important to have someone who can support and challenge you to stay committed and on track until your new mental, emotional and behavioural patterns are well-established consistently supporting you to live in freedom.

Step 4: T

The T in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Training. Theory is great but you need to know HOW TO practically apply healthy coping strategies and problem-solving skills to your day-to-day life which is why all of my courses and services include step-by-step skills and strategies to help you overcome obstacles and help you achieve your goals.
